1. KEEP IT SIMPLE
Focus on one thing at a time. Telling yourself... "I will workout every day this week", can be recipe for disaster. If we end up missing a day or two we often beat ourselves up. Instead try... "I will workout TODAY". Whether that's sitting for 5 minutes in silence and focusing on your breathe, or taking on a 30 minute or hour long bootcamp workout. Get it done and you'll feel amazing, motivated and proud for making it happen.
2. DE-CLUTTER
Our minds and homes can quickly fill up with unnecessary "junk". Spring is the season to let go! Use breathing, meditation, and exercising to let go (even a long walk can help reduce the mind clutter). Then make time to remove physical items from your wardrobe, kitchen or home that you simply do not need. Find inspiration for living with less.
3. KNOW WHAT MATTERS (TO YOU!)
This might be the biggest source of motivation. Do you want to feel energized, alive and happy? Do you want to wake up loving the work you do and feeling proud of who you are? Then you owe it to yourself to pursue those things. Without explaining yourself to anyone. Each day ask yourself if you are moving in the right direction, and don't look back!
4. DON'T LISTEN TO THE NEGATIVE VOICES
Never let anyone tell you that you can't do something (including yourself!). The thoughts and feelings of others (parents, friends, co-workers) at some point can have an impact on us. But don't ever let it hold you back from living the life you truly desire, and don't take it personally. They still love you. :)
5. INTENTIONAL POSITIONING
Surround yourself with positive, fun, loving, motivated people. This in my opinion, is the most important for our development and drive. It's not easy staying motivated on your own. We consciously/subconsciously align ourselves with the energy that is around us. If it's negative or lazy energy then how can we expect to be positive and motivated? Choose your environment intentionally, and spend more time with people that light your fire!
